Making Icons at the
Tao Fong Shan Christian Center
The Tao Fong Shan Christian Center was founded in 1930 by the Norwegian missionary Karl Ludvig Reichelt. It was initially located at Nanjing, China but was later moved to Shantin, Hong Kong due to the Chinese civil war. It aims " to foster and develop contextual Christian spirituality, art, and liturgy, and encourage interfaith and cultural exchange and dialogue".
They are currently working on a book with Ms. Fan Pu, a member artist of the ACAA; that they hope to publish by the end of the year. For more updates about the Tao Fong Shan Christian Center visit their website at www.tfscc.org or their facebook page www.facebook.com/taofongshan.
