Elyandra Widharta is an Indonesian Christian theatre & performance artist. He graduated from the Indonesian Art Institute of Yogyakarta with a degree on Dramaturgy Concentration. He is a performer, organizer, journalist and most recently an editor of the teraswarta.com. Many of his projects involve the local communities, youth, social organizations, and alternative schools.
In 2006, he organized the Sego Gurih Community, a modern realist, Javanese theatre group. They perform modern theatre in villages around the urban city of Yogyakarta. He also collaborates with NGO's (Non Government Organizations) and individuals to bring art to the local farmers, refugees and victims of natural calamities.
He has participated as a performance artist in “Indonesia Performance Art Festival” (Jakarta, 2005), “Performance Art Urban Festival” (Yogyakarta, 2005-2006 and 2008), “Maju Jaya Chaos Dab” International Performance Art Festival (Yogyakarta, 2007), and "Undisclosed Territory #5" - an International Performance Art Festival in Surakarta, Java in 2011. Elyandra has been acting in theater productions since 2001. He has performed in about a hundred of plays
